I haven't had the issue of over heating like I have read in several reviews. Mine usually lasts for 3-5 days depending on my use.
Overall, it is a great phone. I haven't ever had an issue with any other Virgin Mobile phone with getting the voicemail shut off.
(heavy use 3 days/light use 5 days) The only issue that I really had was that I don't use voicemail and tried for the first 6 months to get Virgin Mobile to shut it off and everything they tried, they could not get it shut off. Not sure why it does that, but that could be improved.
Ive had this phone for almost two years. But the battery life is excellent.
Also, the blue-tooth seems to like to disconnect by itself for no reason.
I've own the Slice phone for 4yrs and I'm still using it :D We'll be in a Target and I would have all my signal bars and she'll have none. She complains all the time that she DOES NOT have a signal while mine does. I have never had any trouble with this phone. This is the best cellphone I have ever owned. My sister bought the Virgin Mobile Cyclops for $80 while I spent $40 on this Slice. When she goes out of town, she takes my Slice with her because she knows it's more reliable.
Luckily this phone went through the washer on accident I guess it was an accident, and it gave me a reason to get a new phone. I had a phone like this before from virgin mobile where you could lock the keys when its in your pocket, and I never had 911 call me. I wouldn't recommend this phone unless you have a lot of unexpected emergencies. This phone was ok at the start and then I discovered when I locked the keys to put it in my pocket it could still dial 911. Pressing a combination of keys in my pocket dialed 911, and I had them call me back 3 or 4 separate times asking what my emergency was. I now have the LG Flare from virgin mobile and it has been an excellent cell phone.
I have had this phone like 7th months now.I purchased it July 2007.I love this phone.This phone is way better then the Super slice.The Super Slice may have more features but this is a great phone.If you are looking for a good,cheap phone I recommend this phone.
The phone is basic however the music and other stuff you want on this phone IS NOT CHEEP 6 BUCKS FOR A GAME I RATHER BUY 8 MC E DEE APPLE PIES.
